The Crater Rim Ultra Trail Run in Christchurch on 19 October 2025 offers a variety of courses and distances to suit all abilities.
Choose from the 6km Valley View, 12km Rapaki Rumble, 22km Kiwi Challenge, 30km Bellbird Buster or the 53km Crater Rim Ultra over beautiful terrain like no other in the world.
The event attracts interest from outside Christchurch and is a popular build-up to the Kepler Challenge in early December. Many competitors return for the challenge and the scenic nature of the course which overlooks both the Canterbury Plains and Lyttelton Harbour.
This event is organised by the Port Hills Athletics Club.
